Ok…
After 浅草, we were supposed to be on the train on the way back to our hotel…
My dear Dad decided that we shall drop at the interchange and walk walk in the Japanese Seafood market…
But I was not feeling very well during that time…
So I suppose my face was black…
Haha…

But it was quite an eye opening experience… it’s something like our wet market…
But it’s not dirty…
And it’s not smelly…
It only sells seafood and other shopping stuffs anyway….
No poultry, no vegetables…

By the way… the station is called Ueno (U-E-NO) 上野…

There are also many shops inside like bakery, bookshops etc.
Very different from our local MRT stations…

As usual…
In Tokyo, you WALK to anyway you want…
So, after you come out from the station, you still need to take a 5 mins walk to the seafood place…

Along the way, we saw many “arcades”…
Some are like the ones we have in Singapore, but some are like the “gambling places” I was referring to in my previous posts…
This is the “casino like place”
I heard that people actually gamble money inside….



Ya…
And my Dad LOVES coming into my pictures…



Now you know why Singapore has more and more such machines???



Tokyo has MORE….
Haha…

I also realize that girls there really wear their skirts really really short…
Those things we see in the Japanese dramas are REAL….
All the students actually make up, set their hair and everything before going to school…

I was not lying…
They are just a small tiny portion of the many many girls who does this…
Haha…
But I guess it’s normal there…
Because you see them all over the streets…

Now into the seafood place…

This is fish roe…
The ones we see on the sushi..
2 boxes only for 1000 yen… which is like SGD13..!!!!
Super cheap la…
I so wanted to buy…
But it would not be nice by the time I reach home…
If you didn’t know, the fish roe in Singapore is super expensive…
A small small container can easily cost up to SGD6.50..!!!
And I mean the container is really small… like probably one fifth of the one in the picture…

We were all freaking tired and took the train back….

Because it was like 5-6 pm…
So everyone is like going home…
Mum says they look like black ants…
The males there ALL wear black suits and with a long coat…
The colours are more or less the same…

Their train practically goes EVERYWHERE you will want to go in Tokyo…
So it’s very convenient…
But very confusing too…

Dad says that life is just like the Tokyo metro system….
You never know where you will end up at…
Be clear of where you want to go…
Because it’s just too easy to get lost…
That is why you always plan your route…
Even if you get lost…
You will still get to where you want to go…
Just that you will take a longer time to reach…
But you will still reach there.
